Advice for Road Runners: The Brooks Men's Glycerin GTS 22 Running Shoes feature DNA Tuned cushioning.
GTS stands for 'go-to-support'. This model is the stability version of the Brooks Glycerin 22 Running Shoes.
Underfoot Feel
DNA Tuned consists of two types of nitrogen-infused foam. The heel section of the midsole features larger cells - offering an ultra-soft underfoot feel. In contrast, the forefoot section features smaller cells - delivering greater energy return.
For heel-to-midfoot strikers, the midsole should deliver soft landings, followed by energetic take-offs.
The added stability provided by the Glycerin GTS 22 stems from Brooks' GuideRails™. This support system works in a similar way to the bumpers at a bowling alley; they support your body's natural motion path while keeping excess motion in check.
The Glycerin GTS 22 Running Shoes also have more outsole rubber in the midfoot area than the Glycerin 22 Running Shoes. This subtle difference enhances the inherent stability of the midsole.
Upper Fit
A double jacquard engineered mesh upper comes with a flat knit collar. As a result, the Brooks Glycerin GTS 22 Running Shoes' upper should be breathable, soft, and supportive.
Ideal Run Type
The Brooks Men's Glycerin GTS 22 Running Shoes are suitable for both slower-paced and steadier-effort runs. This is because the midsole should feel comfortable and energetic to run in.
Brooks' GuideRails™ should work for runners who are prone to knee discomfort. This is because the holistic support system has been designed to limit excessive knee rotation.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
